  I wasn't the least bit surprised to see that post, after all, people who are asked to leave due to her drama, are NOT happy campers when they go! Actually, your horse was the only horse that was "sick". Anyone who has had experiences with uveitis knows it's not something that a horse "catches". I think the owners of the barn were pretty nice to you. You had a super large stall, at no extra charge, lent you their trailer 3 times to take your horse to the U of I, since you had no trailer or truck. Your horse's fly mask was put on him every morning, which isn't something that is in the contract to be done for you, your horse was medicated 3-4 times a day, because you, who has no job, couldn't make it to the barn to take care of your own horse. You weren't happy at this barn for a long time, I will never understand why you stayed so long if you weren't happy. You left to go to Colorado because you aren't/weren't happy at home, you weren't happy with the barn. some people just are never happy, and I totally feel sorry for you, life is too short to not be happy. I personally took three days of my own time, to pull the owner's trailer to the U of I for you, for the price of gas. Which, when gas jumped up higher, you didn't offer more gas money. But, we are the terrible people at the barn. Yes, the owners both work full time jobs, but you forgot to mention, the husband works out of his home, so he IS there. You brag about how you took care of your barn when you boarded, what 6 horses, two of which were yours? Did you forget to mention, you didn't work. The size of this barn is a little larger than yours. Did you know that 6 horses at this barn left to, "greener pastures", but came back because it wasn't better at the other places. Better care is given here. Which brings me to the point that we got paid to care for your horse, not by you, but by the owners, you paid nothing extra to have this service. To sum this up, I'm sorry you think that the care you got for your horse, that you really didn't help with as the owner, was bad. But once again, I didn't think you'd have anything nice to say due to the fact you were asked to leave this barn. Another reason this barn is a nice place to board, they don't put up with any drama. I really wish you the best of luck, Aleta, and hope you can find happiness before it's too late.
